At Palmy Boys’
The Ian Colquhoun Memorial Hall is a key part of our school day and plays a core role in developing our school culture.
Assembly is held in the hall each morning and this provides an opportunity for us to collectively recognise the many and varied achievements of our young men. The Rector uses the daily assembly to provide key messages to the student body in support of our school vision and values. Each Tuesday a Prefects assembly is held. This is organised by the Head Prefect and features student presentations and performances from a variety of school musical groups and solo performers.
The Ian Colquhoun Memorial Hall is fully networked and important assemblies, such as our annual Sports and Cultural Prizegiving and ANZAC Service, are live streamed over the internet so that all members of our school community can be involved.
The Ian Colquhoun Memorial Hall is also used for fairs and expos, indoor activities and competitions.
The Ian Colquhoun Memorial Hall has seating for close to 1800, both male and female toilet facilities and a small kitchen.
